Brock 38, Whitesboro 3 — The Eagles passed Friday’s road test at Whitesboro with flying colors, outscoring the Bearcats 31-0 in the second half to break open what was just a four-point game at halftime.
Brock outgained Whitesboro 418-125, getting 358 of those yards on the ground. Cash Jones was the catalyst for that performance, rushing for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while Myles Semas added 78 yards and a touchdown and Kutter Wilson had 52 yards on just five carries.
The win keeps the Eagles (5-2, 2-1) one game back of Pilot Point in the loss column heading into next week’s home game against Ponder. Whitesboro, which is idle next week, fell to 4-4 overall and 2-2 in league play with the loss.
