GAME RECAP: Wylie snaps 18-game losing streak with win at Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS — Wichita Falls High quarterback Zy Gravitt’s pass to the end zone fell incomplete as time expired, sealing a 21-14 win for the Wylie Bulldogs on Thursday night at Memorial Stadium.

The victory, Wylie’s first since November 2017, snapped an 18-game losing streak for coach Hugh Sandifer and the Bulldogs. And more importantly, it put the WHS (1-6 overall, 1-1 in District 3-5A Division II) firmly in the playoff race after having a 24-year postseason streak snapped during a winless campaign last season.
