SAN ANGELO — Leading Abilene High 21-13 after three quarters, the San Angelo Central football team scored the only two touchdowns of the fourth period Friday to leave San Angelo Stadium with an impressive and important 35-13 win over the Eagles.
The Bobcats, who outgained AHS 432-246, got a big game from quarterback Malachi Brown in improving to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in District 3-6A play. The junior signal caller passed for 321 yards, rushed for a team-high 52 and accounted for four of his team’s five touchdowns in dropping the Eagles to 2-5 on year and 1-2 in league play.
