Brock 26, Breckenridge 7 — The Eagles overcame four turnovers Friday with a stellar defensive performance and did enough offensively to earn a convincing road win over Breckenridge at Buckaroo Stadium.

Brock outgained the Buckaroos 354-217, forcing three turnovers and pounding out 273 rushing yards to help counteract the effect of four lost fumbles. Cash Jones was the Eagles’ leading rusher, going for 133 yards on 19 carries, while Kutter Wilson (8-73), Myles Semas (8-27) and Logan Lightfoot (4-6) all had rushing scores.

Brock, which also got a 60-yard TD pass from Jones to Jack Fuchs, improved to 3-1 with the victory. The Eagles will open district play next week at Pilot Point.
