San Saba 63, Junction 0 — The Armadillos followed a 28-point first quarter with a 35-point second, reaching a season-high scoring total by halftime of their third blowout win to open the season.

San Saba, which has outscored its opponents 177-3 so far, put up 509 yards in the victory — 339 rushing and 170 passing. Quarterback Sean O’Keefe led that effort, completing seven of nine passes for 96 yards and three touchdowns while adding 159 yards and two more scores rushing.

The Amardillos, who also got a 100-yard rushing effort from Eli Salinas (10-110, 2 TDs), will look to continue their dominant start to the season next week, when they travel to Georgetown for a neutral site game against Snook.
