COLLEGE STATION — The Jim Ned football team rebounded from a 1-2 run through pool action Friday to reach the Division 2 semifinals at the Texas State 7-on-7 Championships on Saturday at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.

The Indians, the Big Country’s only team in Division II or III to win a bracket play game, defeated Stafford (28-19), Graham (39-27) and Dumas (47-41), before seeing their run end with a 13-12 loss to eventual champion Sunnyvale in the semis.
