The third-ranked Abilene High softball team followed Thursday’s 23-0 win over Arlington High with another blowout Saturday, sweeping the bi-district series with an 18-0 win in front of a big home crowd at the AHS softball field.

Pitchers Kaylen Washington, Aubrianna Salazar and Maddie Perez combined for a one-hit shutout, while the AHS lineup racked up 16 hits, including a double and three home runs.
