After escaping a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Early Lady Longhorns plated four runs in the top of eighth to outlast Colorado City for a wild 15-11 win Thursday in Game 1 of a Region I-3A bi-district series at Abilene Christian University’s Wells Field.

Taking advantage of 10 walks and eight C-City errors, the Lady Longhorns overcame a 12-6 deficit in the hit column. And starter Laiken Reagan made some big pitches when she needed to to give her team a leg up in the best-of-three playoff series.
