HASKELL ā I’m old, so I typically like things that are old.
Old cars. Old movies. Old-style football offenses. Old-fashioned manners. Old hockey jerseys. You name it. If it’s gathering dust I’m generally going to be enamored with it.
And yes, I like old buildings.
So when I learned last year that Haskell ISD would be replacing its basketball gymnasium, affectionately known by some as “The Tee Pee” with a more modern, comfortable facility, my first inclination was to throw an old-guy “hissy.”
