The 2018 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 2A all-state high school football team was announced on Sunday, with several Big Country Players receiving honors.

Topping that list was Stamford quarterback Peyton Bevel, who was named Offensive Player of the Year after completing 196 passes in 309 attempts for 3,849 yards and 50 touchdowns during the regular season.
