Playing their crosstown rival for the second time in five days, the Abilene High Lady Eagles had far more trouble with Cooper on Tuesday than they had in the previous meeting, but coach Terri Aston’s team still managed to come away with a 38-35 win at Eagle Gym.

AHS, which routed Cooper 61-38 in a winners bracket consolation semifinal in the Polk-Key City Classic on Friday, needed a fourth-quarter rally to edge the Lady Cougars on Tuesday.
