LOCAL HOOPS ROUNDUP: Abilene High, Wylie boys fall on road

WOLFFORTH — The Abilene High boys basketball team led Wolfforth Frenship 16-13 after a quarter Monday, but the Eagles were outscored by 26 points the rest of the way in a 74-51 loss.

AHS, which trailed 33-29 at halftime, saw a 22-10 third-quarter disadvantage sink its efforts in falling to 2-2 on the season.

Landon Talley led the Eagles with 12 points, followed by Jalen McGee and Brian Patton with nine points apiece.
