Coach Amy Powell’s squad defeated El Paso Burges 63-47 and Odessa High 51-28 to earn a spot in the championship round against Dallas Bishop Lynch, which came from behind to defeat Jim Ned 60-51 in Friday’s other semifinal.
The Lady Indians earned their spot in the semis with a 47-39 win over Abilene High, which rebounded to defeat Cooper 61-38 to earn a spot in Saturday’s fifth-place game against San Antonio Stevens.
