Hawley 56, Stamford 42 — Hawley used a 20-6 second-half effort to hand Stamford its second loss of the year and avenge last season’s heartbreaking loss to the Bulldogs. 

Quarterback Dylan Frazier had one of his best performances of the year, throwing for 150 yards and four scores and rushing for 123 yards and another TD as the Bearcats improved to 7-1 and 2-0.  

Special teams also played a huge role for the Bearcats, who got 173 yards and two scores on three returns from Garrett Hewitt.
