It’s no secret that Wylie’s first season in Class 5A has been a struggle.
The Bulldogs are 0-7 for the first time since 1982 and have been outscored 299-106, including a 98-29 margin through their first two district games.
But if you think this Wylie team’s will has been broken, longtime coach Hugh Sandifer would tell you otherwise.
Yes, his team has struggled. And yes, it enters Friday’s game at Canyon Randall with dimming playoff hopes. But this team hasn’t and won’t quit, Sandifer said, and it’s working as hard as ever to turn things around.
