Brock 34, Whitesboro 29 — The Eagles rallied from a two-score deficit on two separate occasions Friday to sneak past an inspired Bearcat squad and remain undefeated in 4-3A DI action.
Brock (6-1, 3-0) fell behind 10-0 to start the game and trailed 23-14 at halftime, but coach Chad Worrell’s squad scored the first three touchdowns of the second half to overcome Whitesboro (5-3, 2-2) at home.
Jake Teskey (10-132) and Zakk Young (11-118) both topped the 100-yard rushing mark, while Toby Morrison had 84 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles, who outgained the Bearcats by a 450-353 margin in the victory.
