Wichita Falls Rider 34, Wylie 7 — The Raiders’ struggling offense got untracked against the Bulldogs on Friday, pounding out 319 yards rushing in a game they controlled throughout.
Samuel Manuel led Rider (2-4, 1-0) with 111 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, while three others — Darien Boyd (11-77, 1 TD), Jacob Rodriguez (12-76, 1 TD) and Tre Byrd (11-53, 1 TD) — ran for at least 50 yards and one score.
Wylie (0-6, 0-1), which was limited to 221 total yards — 133 rushing and 88 passing — got its only touchdown in the fourth quarter when Jaxon Hansen hit Parker Sanford from six yards out.
