Abilene High heads east to take on Hurst Bell

ABILENE HIGH (4-1, 1-0) AT HURST BELL (1-4, 0-1)

7:30 p.m. Friday at Pennington Field, Bedford

What it means: The Eagles can improve to 2-0 in District 3-6A play with a win, which would be big heading into key games against San Angelo Central (4-1, 1-0) and Haltom City Haltom (4-0, 0-0) the next two weeks. A victory also would keep AHS perfect against the Blue Raiders, who the Eagles beat 38-12 in 2014 and 44-12 in 2015, the only two previous meetings in the series.
