Stephenville 48, Georgetown 8 — Kade Renfro hit 17 of 21 throws for 229 yards and three scores to lead the Yellow Jackets to a stunning win over a previously unbeaten Class 5A team. 

Three different SHS receivers — Gavin Rountree, Krece Nowak and Zane Walker all caught TD passes to help the ‘Jackets move to 3-2 against a merciless schedule. 

Stephenville will now enjoy a bye week, prior to heading into district play against China Spring (3-2) on Oct. 12.
