Midland Greenwood 65, Sweetwater 20 — The Rangers rushed for 472 yards, including 282 from Trey Cross in a win over the Mustangs. 

Sweetwater (0-5) was led by Alex Gallegos, who rushed 19 times for 116 yards and a score.  The Mustangs made a game of it prior to the half with 20 second-quarter points. But Greenwood, which led 23-20 at the break, blew the game open with a 21-0 third quarter
