District 3-2A Division I: Week 4 Report

Winters 60, Ranger 0 — The Blizzards flexboned their way to 345 rushing yards and five scores to improve to 4-0. 

Jovan Young rushed for 144 yards and one score on 10 carries and Nick Brown added 96 yards and another score. 

Defensively, the Blizzards held Ranger to just 64 total yards. 

Colton Marshall

Hawley 32, Albany 7 — Hawley pounded out 357 rushing yards, including 178 from Colton Marshall

to drop Albany to 0-4 for the first time in coach Denney Faith’s 31-year tenure.

The Bearcats enter this week at 3-1. 

Stamford 42, Haskell 8 —The Bulldogs build a 27-0 first-half lead before coasting to the finish line with 452 yards in total offense. 

Big Country leading passer Peyton Bevel finished with 303 passing yards and five scores. 

Stamford improved to 4-0; Haskell dropped to 1-3.

Colorado City 54, Forsan 6 — The Wolves (4-0) remained unbeaten behind a balanced, explosive offense that produced 493 total yards on the night.

Bubba Williams rushed for 142 yards and three TDs on nine carries and Tracy Smith had three catches for 150 yards and three scores to pace C-City. 

Forsan (0-4) was limited to 172 total yards in misty, windy conditions.

Ozona at Harper — Was cancelled due to weather. OHS enters this week’s home date with Junction (0-4) at 0-3.
