The entirety of District 4-3A DII was idle on Sept. 21, so there is little to report here this week. 

District play opens on Friday for all eight teams, with a key matchup between league favorites Cisco (2-0) and Ballinger (2-1), with the winner getting an early inside track on the league title.

It will also feature an interesting coaching matchup between Cisco’s Brent West and Ballinger’s Chuck Lipsey — both successful veterans of Big Country wars.
