Brownwood 47, Graham 26 — Tommy Bowden threw for 254 yards and three scores and rushed for 77 yards and two more TDs to give the Lions (1-2) their first win on the year. 

Leading 34-26 after three quarters, Brownwood took control for good courtesy of Bowden, who added a 1-yard touchdown run and a 31-yard TD pass to AJ McCarty in the final period.

The victory also marked the first win at Brownwood for first-year coach Sammy Burnet.
