Stamford 48, Hamlin 6 — Kaston Vega rushed for 120 yards and three scores and Cle Whitfield rushed for 100 yards and another score to lead Stamford to a big win in the return of coach Wayne Hutchinson.
Stamford outgained Hamlin 417-110 while forcing the Pied Pipers into a pair of turnovers.

Coming off a bi-district sweep of Plainview in which Reese Farrar and Rylee Moore both pitched five-inning one-hitters, it was going to be difficult for Wylie’s co-aces to repeat that performance against El Paso Parkland in the area round.
A no-hitter alone is often enough to secure the Big Country Preps Player of the Week award. But when it’s backed by a solid offensive performance, it’s very difficult to get knocked off of the perch.

Colorado City 38, Winters 8 — Mayson Monroe threw for 181 yards and two scores and Aedan Brisen rushed for 161 yards and another TD to lift C-City (1-7, 1-3) to its first win
Hawley 60, Winters 6 — Austin Cumpton rushed for 138 yards and four scores on only 10 carries to lift Hawley to a win on the road.
