In a game that typically sees offenses struggle, the Blue team won the 25th annual FCA Myrle Greathouse All-Star Football Classic 20-10 over the Red team at Shotwell Stadium on Saturday night.
Since moving to a draft format, the Red and Blue teams have split the eight games played after the North All-Stars dominated the first 16 years, winning 13 times against their counterparts from the South.
Abilene High quarterback Dylan Slack was named Offensive MVP after throwing for 179 yards and two scores, while Cooper’s Eric Tonche earned Defensive MVP honors with two sacks among his five tackles.
