Abilene High 35, Lubbock Coronado 6 — The Eagles ran for 258 yards, getting 178 of those and two touchdowns from Ethan Joyner, to cruise to a workmanlike win over the Mustangs.

Symanni Strahan also had a big game for Abilene High (5-2, 3-0), rushing for 36 yards and two touchdowns while adding a third TD receiving, as the Eagles bu8ilt a 21-6 lead by halftime.
