DISTRICT 2-5A DIV. I WEEK 6 REPORT: Tascosa, Cooper and Amarillo High pick up wins

Amarillo Tascosa 36, Abilene High 14 — Tayden Barnes rushed for 215 yards and four touchdowns to fuel the Rebels to a comfortable win over the Eagles.

Tascosa (5-1, 2-0) outgained Abilene High 440-145, rushing for all but 42 of those yards. Behind Barnes, who scored all of his touchdowns in the first half, led 29-7 by halftime and was never threatened after that.
