Starting as a sophomore for one of the Big Country’s youngest teams last fall, Green emerged as a big-play threat for coach Dan Gainey, averaging more than 20 yards per catch and accounting for half of his team’s total touchdowns.
And he did so while serving as an ideal representative of the C-City program, giving Gainey a leader to build his rebuild around and fans a dependable playmaker on whom to pin their hopes for a brighter future.
