CISCO — He closed the 2019 season with 91 tackles as a 6-foot-2, 180-pound sophomore linebacker.

Since then, Cisco’s Dawson Hearne has hit a growth spurt that could help him become one of the top small-school juniors in the Big Country.  And not just at linebacker. 

Now standing in at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, Hearne will still occupy his middle linebacker spot in the Cisco 4-3 defensive scheme. But he will also see plenty of time at tight end and wide receiver (among other things), creating a very difficult matchup for most Class 2A DI clubs.
