UIL sends Abilene High back west, Cooper east, keeps Wylie in holding pattern

Abilene High will be making its return to the Little Southwest Conference, Cooper will be heading east for the first time ever and Wylie will be staying put after an eventful realignment day for Abilene’s three public high schools.

The trio learned their new district situations for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years on Monday morning during the University Interscholastic League’s biennial reclassification and realignment, and each will be facing a different scenario in their new district home.
