The Cooper Cougars rallied from an early 4-3 deficit to beat Wichita Falls High 9-5 on Friday at Cougar Field, clinching a season sweep of the Coyotes and moving into a first-place tie in District 4-5A in the process.
The Coogs answered a four-run WFHS third with two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and three in the sixth to secure the win and improve 11-13 overall and 6-2 in district play.
