There are great games, and then there are those that border on insanity.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a misprint: Hawley’s Colton Marshall tallied 516 yards rushing and seven touchdowns in last week’s 73-20 win over Windthorst.
If that isn’t scary enough, he did it on just 12 carries and was pulled from the game three plays into the second half.
I’ve seen six-man players tally numbers like this on a fairly regular basis. But six-man is a different game with more field space between the players. To see an 11-man player do something like this is unreal.
Is he the Big Country Preps Player of the Week? Uh … that’s a rhetorical question.
