SAN ANGELO — It took nine innings and nearly 2½ hours to decide the issue. But the Coahoma Bulldoggettes, courtesy of a walk-off RBI double from Cassie Grant, got the last word in a thrilling 4-3 win over Comanche on Friday in a one-game bi-district matchup at Angelo State University.
With the score knotted at 3, Grant hit a shot to deep center to score Kaylor Green — shortly after Comanche had intentionally walked Jaydan Mann to get to Grant who was 0 for 3 up to that point.
