Merkel 53, Colorado City 27 — The Badgers (1-2) collected their first win of the season behind Easton “Moose” Malone’s 218 yards passing and two scores.

Malone also rushed for 80 yards and three scores; Kayden Diaz added 68 yards rushing and two more TDs.
