Lubbock Monterey 24, Wylie 21 — Jonah Reed overcame an early-pick six to pass for 196 yards and a touchdown while adding another TD on the ground to lead the Plainsmen past the Bulldogs in a hard-fought matchup.

Legin Williams added 82 yards and a touchdown on the ground and Cam Taylor had 123 yards and a score receiving to help Monterey, which outgained Wylie 346-222.
