As the 2024 version of the Stephenville football team finished off its home slate with a 44-0 win over longtime rival Brownwood on Friday night, it also marked the end of an era.
It was the last time that the Yellow Jackets will play a home game at Tarleton State University’s Memorial Stadium.
The fact that it was a game against their bitter rival closing out the run was not lost on many.
