Abilene Cooper 35, Plainview 23 — The Cougars outgained the Bulldogs 364-258, overcoming a couple of bad breaks early to pull away for a comfortable victory in a must-win district home game.

Trailing 10-7 in the second quarter after a couple of mistakes in special teams on on offense, Cooper (2-6, 1-3) outscored Plainview 28-13 the rest of the way, with the Bulldogs’ final touchdown coming with three seconds remaining in the game.
