Wylie 41, Lubbock Coronado 12 — After a slow start, the Bulldogs pulled away from the Mustangs, scoring 34 unanswered points to turn a 12-7 second-quarter deficit into a blowout win.

Bear Meng passed for 169 yards and two touchdowns, while Jaegan Smith (10-111, 1 TD) and Julius Laine (5-74, 2 TDs) led a 295-yard rushing attack in the win, which improved Wylie to 2-0 on the year.
