The Cooper boys basketball team entered Tuesday night’s game against Lubbock Monterey at Cougar Gym knowing that it had its back against the wall in the hunt for one of the four playoff berths out of District 4-5A.
After a 50-40 loss, the Cougars’ playoff hopes are now in dire straits as CHS will need to win its final four games to have a shot at the postseason.
