Texarkana Pleasant Grove 10, Brock 7  — The Eagles dropped their opener to the Hawks for the second consecutive year, managing just 272 yards and one touchdown in a heartbreaking three-point loss.

Brock, which fell 28-7 to Pleasant Grove a year ago, led 7-3 with less than a minute remaining Friday. But Ahkhari Johnson hit Jackson Gibson with a 32-yard touchdown pass with 56 seconds remaining to lift the Hawks to the dramatic victory.
