There are two constants when speaking about the girls basketball regional tournaments from the Big Country perspective.
First, we are almost guaranteed to have representation at the regional level — partly due to talent and partly due to the sheer volume of teams the Big Country houses (nearly 80). And secondly, surviving beyond this point is usually a crapshoot, with one monstrous team after another blocking the road to San Antonio.
