Abilene High 35, Lubbock Coronado 14 — The Eagles used a dominating defensive effort and a strong running game to overwhelm the Mustangs, building a 35-0 fourth-quarter lead before CHS finally got on the board with a pair of scores in the final five minutes.

AHS (4-5, 3-2), which clinched a playoff berth with the victory, outgained Coronado 279-185, limiting the Mustangs (2-6, 1-3) to one first down and minus-14 yards in the first half.
