DISTRICT 4-3A DIV. II WEEK 9 REPORT: Coahoma remains in title hunt while Abernathy and Idalou collect wins

Coahoma 40, Stanton 12 — Jaidyn Vineyard rushed for 161 yards and two TDs on 21 carries as Coahoma defeated Stanton to keep its district title hopes alive. 

Boyd Cox led the CHS aerial attack, hitting 12 of 24 throws for 166 yards and three scores as the Bulldogs improved to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in district. 

Coahoma will close its regular season with a road date at Lubbock Roosevelt next Friday and a home date with Abernathy on Nov. 4.
