District 5-4A Div. I Report: ‘Jackets outlast Heritage in season-opening shootout

Stephenville 49, Midlothian Heritage 42 — Ryder Lambert hit 20 of 31 throws for 289 yards and five TDs to lead Stephenville to a thrilling win over Heritage. 

Leading 49-29 late in the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jackets (1-0) held off a late Heritage rally that saw the Jaguars add a pair of late touchdowns.
