CHILDRESS — Amarillo Tascosa outscored the Wylie boys basketball team 22-14 over the final eight minutes Tuesday to turn a one-point lead after three quarters into a 56-47 win in a Region I-5A bi-district matchup at the Childress High School gym.
The Rebels, who trailed by two at halftime, held just a three-point lead with two minutes remaining. But Tascosa closed the game on a 10-4 run to secure the win and end the Bulldogs’ season at 18-16.
