Those words spoken by Abilene High softball coach Jim Reese were in regards to his son, Justin, who is the boys basketball coach at AHS.
With the news of Jim’s upcoming retirement from AHS, Justin spent most of the past organizing a surprise retirement ceremony honoring his dad prior to the Lady Eagles 4-3 win over Odessa High in the Lady Eagles’ penultimate home game of the season on Friday.
