COAHOMA — The Coahoma football team clinched a playoff berth on Friday night but not in the way the team wanted to.
Three turnovers cost the Bulldogs in a 26-20 District 4-3A Division II loss to Lubbock Roosevelt on Senior Night at Bulldog Stadium.
However, Coahoma was still able to clinch a playoff berth as Stanton lost to Abernathy to ensure that the Buffaloes would not be able to catch up to the Bulldogs in the district standings.
