2020 CROSS PLAINS FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Buffs small in size, but poised to contend

Even by Class 2A standards, the Cross Plains Buffaloes will field a small team in 2020. But coach Daniel Purvis is confident that lack of size won’t mean a lack of wins.

While the 10th-year Cross Plains coach acknowledges that this will be the smallest team he’s had during his head coaching tenure, he said it’s also the fastest. And though he and his staff may have to do some things a little differently this season, he’s bullish on this group and what it can accomplish.
