Stamford 39, Haskell 14 — With the teams tied at 14 after one quarter of play on Friday, Stamford scored the final 25 points to pull away for a comfortable win.

The game, which you can read more about here, was delayed by lightning with just over a minute remaining in the first quarter, and it was all Bulldogs after the 45-minute stoppage. Stamford, which got 268 total yards from D’Marcus Barber (144 rushing, 124 receiving) and 251 passing yards from Trace Price, improved to 3-1 with the victory, while Haskell dropped to 2-2 with the loss.

The Indians, who got both of their touchdowns from Logan Burson, will return to the field next week at Lubbock Christian. Stamford, meanwhile, will travel to De Leon.
