Brady 59, Haskell 24 — A field goal on Haskell’s first possession staked the Indians to an early 3-0 lead, but coach Shay Easterwood’s squad responded with 29 unanswered points over the remainder of the first quarter and never looked back from there.
Haskell pulled within 19 points at halftime (29-10), but Brady scored the first three touchdowns of the second half to push ahead 51-10 by the start of the fourth quarter and coasted from that point to the win.
With the victory, Brady will take a 1-1 record into its road game at Llano, while Haskell (1-1) is idle next week.
